JROTC CyberSecurity Competition


The Clearfield HS AFJROTC Marksmanship team was in Anniston, Alabama where after four rounds of competition and nearly five months of preparation, the team advanced to the finals of CyberPatriot III, the nation’s largest high school cyber defense competition. The team includes: Daniel Hargrave, Eric Takacs, Braxton Allen, Hunter Poe and Preston Boss.

Twenty‑three teams from the United States and Europe gathered at the southern headquarters of the civilian marksmanship program to compete in this two day competition. They won the silver medal in the 2011 Air Force JROTC National Marksmanship Championships.

With their finish, the Clearfield team qualified for the National JROTC Championships will be held 24‑27 March, also in Anniston. The team will also be hosting the Utah State Marksmanship championships this Saturday, 5 March.
